Eric Gilbert has been working in the home improvement industry for over 25 years, with hardwood floors, bathroom remodels, window installations and more. While in the business, he found that there was a definite need for high quality flooring in many of the homes he and his team visited.
With many of the other jobs he and his team been working on, his customers had been asking for assistance with flooring in addition to the other services like bathroom remodels. He found that with a separate company and with his connections to national vendors, he could effectively serve the upstate South Carolina region, and homeowners who needed better quality floors.
Eric founded Upstate Flooring Direct with his partner and friend Ray Kerwick. Ray himself has been in the home improvement industry for over 35 years, including with hardwood and luxury plank vinyl installation. The two started offering their floor installations to customers and immediately enjoyed great success and word of mouth.
Before starting this website, Upstate Flooring Direct had already built a solid reputation for customer service and quality work, and nearly all of our business has come from referrals and repeat customers.
